Acciona in its construction business is looking to hire a Security Coordinator.

Job Description

The Security Coordinator will design, implement, and oversee the comprehensive physical security plan and procedures for our project. This role is responsible for mitigating high-level risks-including theft, sabotage, social unrest, and unauthorized intrusion—to ensure the security of personnel, the protection of critical assets, and uninterrupted project continuity throughout all construction and commissioning phases. He/She will:

• •Design and execute robust Emergency Response Plans (ERP) and Crisis Management protocols for scenarios such as strikes, riots, natural disasters, or terror threats.
• •Oversee the deployment, KPIs, and daily operations of the sub-contracted guard force.
• •Supervise the deployment of physical security systems, including perimeter intrusion detection (PIDS), long-range CCTV systems, and strict access control for workers, material and vehicles.
• •Conduct internal investigations regarding breaches, thefts, or security incidents and deliver actionable corrective reports.
• •Serve as the primary point of contact and maintain strong relationships with local law enforcement, military branches, and emergency services.
• •Work closely with the community relations team to monitor and mitigate social risks, community grievances, or local protests.
• •Coordinate with the Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) department to ensure security protocols align seamlessly with safety regulations.

Required Skills and Competencies

• •Bachelor's degree in security management, Criminology, Engineering, Business Administration, or having been Officer in the AFP or PNP.
• •Demonstrated experience in heading security operations in high-stakes environments.
• •Expertise in electronic security systems integration and physical perimeter defense.
• •Strong leadership, conflict-resolution, and negotiation skills under high-pressure scenarios.
