Security Dispatcher

• Responsibilities:
• - Receive and prioritize emergency and non-emergency calls from current and prospect customers, current employees and from the public.
• - Gather and record accurate information from callers by telephone, email and two way radio communication.
• - Dispatch appropriate personnel or resources to incidents or service requests to include police, fire and supervisors.
• - Monitor and track the status of ongoing incidents or service requests
• - Coordinate communication between field units, supervisors, customers and other entities
• - Provide clear and concise instructions to callers or field units as needed
• - Maintain accurate records of all calls and actions taken
• - Follow established protocols and procedures for handling different types of incidents

• Experience:
• - Previous experience as a dispatcher or in a similar role is preferred
• - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• - Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations
• - Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• - Proficient in using computer systems, two way radio and dispatch software
• - Knowledge of conflict management techniques
• - Experience in report writing and documentation
• - Familiarity with loss prevention strategies

- Must have AZ Guard Card
