Security Investigations Unit:
- The team responsible for protecting our business through proactive security monitoring and through background verification. We work at the intersection of information security, risk analysis, and investigations, ensuring that the company grows safely and that decisions are made on reliable, verified data.
- As an Information Security Specialist, you will play a key role in conducting end-to-end background checks and security investigations. You’ll coordinate with external sources, analyze verification results, identify risks, and support incident response when potential threats arise. This role requires clear thinking, strict confidentiality, strong attention to detail, and the ability to stay effective in critical situations.
- We’re looking for a thoughtful, disciplined specialist who can work independently, collaborate with stakeholders, and continuously improve investigation and security processes.
Challenges that await you:
Conduct comprehensive background verifications.
Coordinate information with different sources: former employers, educational institutions, and verification providers.
Analyze and evaluate verification reports, identify discrepancies, red flags, or potential risks.
Ensure strict confidentiality and secure handling extreme sensible data.
Monitor, detect, and assess security threats to the business.
Analyze vulnerabilities across the organization and propose mitigation actions.
Manage security incidents and participate in emergency response activities.
Implement internal security policies and ensure regulatory compliance.
Investigate incidents and continuously improve security and verification workflows.
Prepare detailed investigation reports and communicate findings to decision-makers.
Provide strategic recommendations based on investigation outcomes.
Maintain background verification databases and generate periodic reports.
What makes you a great fit:
Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Law, Criminalistic, Strategic Intelligence
Maximum 3 years of experience
English and Spanish advanced
