SECURITY OFFICER

Summary

This position is in the Supervision/Management Work Category at the Expert Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. This position is for DISA White House Communications Agency at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, District of Columbia.This is an Excepted Service position and does not confer eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. If you are a current Federal Career/Career-Conditional employee, you will be placed on an Excepted appointment under 10 U.S.C. 1599f.

Duties

• •Directs the development and execution of the organization’s overarching intelligence strategy, aligning intelligence capabilities with broader mission objectives and theater requirements.
• •Oversees the implementation of intelligence policies and analytical activities strictly adhere to legal, regulatory, and Intelligence Oversight (IO) frameworks.
• •Through subordinate supervisory personnel, plans, organizes and directs the personnel and activities of the Security and Certification Department.
• •Meets with national level agencies and senior officials within the Intelligence Community (IC) to ensure the Directorate is postured to provide exceptional intelligence support to the Agency.
• •Develops and implements the robust Insider Threat Program to ensure the Agency is educated, aware and remains safe against all physical and intelligence related threats.

Qualifications

In order to qualify for this position, you must meet the requirements described below. Qualifying Experience: To qualify at the GG-15, your resume must describe at least one year of experience that demonstrates the competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Experience refers to any paid or unpaid experience, including volunteer work and Military service, that would be considered equivalent to work normally performed at the next lower grade level in the federal service. For this position, qualifying experience is defined as: . Experience leading a large, complex security program; developing, implementing, and evaluating security plans, policies, criteria, guidance, methodologies and techniques for use across an organization and at multiple locations worldwide; and advising senior leaders on security risks and protective measures in support of complex and sensitive missions. Candidates must describe how they meet the qualifying experience and/or selective placement factor(s) within the body of their resume. All qualifications must be met within 30 days after the closing date of this announcement. Additionally, prior to reporting for duty the selectee must be found eligible for a DoD Top Secret security clearance with access to Special Compartmented Information (SCI) based upon an Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI), AND be approved for Presidential Support Duty in accordance with Department of Defense Directive 5210.55 (Yankee White - Category II, minimum). There is no substitution of education for the Qualifying Experience at the GG-15 grade level.
