Full-Time Aviation Security Officer

$17.50 Per Hour | Full Time | South Florida

Shift: Afternoon/Evening + Weekend On-Call

Marksman Security is seeking a dependable, alert, and service-driven Aviation Security Officer to support private aviation operations for a premier corporate account. This role calls for professionalism, sound judgment, and a genuine commitment to keeping people and property safe around high-profile flight activity.

This post supports one of our most distinguished corporate accounts, where the standard for professionalism, presentation, and precision is exceptionally high – true concierge-level security.

Weekend availability is required to support scheduled flight activity; on-call coverage windows are built around each flight's departure and arrival times.

Key Responsibilities

Provide security coverage for private aviation flight operations, including greeting and screening arriving/departing passengers and crew

Coordinate arrival and departure timing with flight schedules per assignment protocol

Deter misconduct and unauthorized access to the flight line and hangar areas

Respond to alarms, calls of distress, or emergencies by contacting police, fire departments, and/or local emergency response teams

Prepare clear, concise, and accurate incident reports

Operate access control systems, utilize a computer for incident reports, and use email

Maintain flexible weekend availability to support scheduled flight activity

Qualifications

Applicants must meet the following:

Two years of customer service experience AND one year of verifiable security experience

Requirements

Valid FL Security License

Valid FL Driver's License

High school diploma or equivalent

Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test

Technology skills: operate access control systems, utilize a computer for incident reports, operate security software systems or applications, use email

Strong customer service skills, professional demeanor, and appearance

Experience managing multiple tasks, executing radio and telephone communications, and performing in a medium to high pressure environment with frequently changing and/or competing demands

Familiarity with report writing

Excellent surveillance and observation skills

Above-average written and verbal communication skills

Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with client staff and the public

Comfort working around private aviation operations and high-profile passengers

Flexible weekend availability to support flight schedules
