• Job Summary
• We are looking for an experienced Network Security Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Fortinet FortiGate and Check Point Security Gateway technologies. The candidate will be responsible for the configuration, administration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance of enterprise network security infrastructure.
• The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of firewall policies, VPN technologies, routing, NAT, high availability, security monitoring, and incident troubleshooting.
• Key Responsibilities
• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Fortinet FortiGate firewalls in enterprise environments.
• Configure, administer, and troubleshoot Check Point firewalls and Security Management infrastructure.
• Create, modify, and review firewall security policies, objects, NAT rules, and access-control rules.
• Manage site-to-site IPsec VPN and remote-access VPN configurations.
• Configure and troubleshoot SSL VPN, where applicable.
• Implement and troubleshoot High Availability (HA) configurations.
• Perform firewall rule optimization, cleanup, and periodic security reviews.
• Knowledge of IDS/IPS, URL filtering, application control, antivirus, and security inspection.
• Monitor firewall health, traffic, logs, events, and security alerts.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity issues involving firewalls, routers, switches, and applications.
• Work with routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, and static routing.
• Perform firmware/software upgrades, configuration backups, and change management.
• Participate in firewall migration, implementation, and upgrade projects.
• Coordinate with network, server, cloud, application, and security teams for incident resolution.
• Follow ITIL/change-management processes for production changes.
• Prepare and maintain network security documentation, diagrams, and operational procedures.
• Participate in security incident investigation and provide technical support during critical incidents.

• Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, Networking, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications are preferred, such as:
• o Fortinet FCP / FCSS
• o Check Point CCSA / CCSE
• o Cisco CCNA / CCNP
• o CompTIA Security+
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Flexible to work from office in hybrid mode 24*7.
