The Role – Senior Account Handler

Join PIB Insurance’s Specialty division, a continuously evolving division of PIB where specialists tackle complex and niche risks, work closely with market-leading experts, and build long-term client partnerships while progressing their careers.

We’re looking for an experienced insurance professional to join us as a Senior Account Handler, delivering expert guidance and outstanding service while building lasting relationships with new and existing clients.

What you’ll be doing:

• •Building and maintaining strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor by assessing needs and providing tailored insurance solutions.
• •Handling day-to-day broking tasks, including client queries, new business, renewals, adjustments and insurer surveys, ensuring accurate, timely and compliant processing on our core systems.
• •Supporting Account Executives and the Branch Manager in growing branch income, retaining clients and managing high value client portfolios.
• •Working closely with other teams across the business to achieve great client outcomes, follow company policies, help resolve issues and complaints, and continually improving processes and service quality.

What we’re looking for:

• •Extensive experience and knowledge of core commercial/corporate insurance classes, current market conditions and FCA compliance and regulatory requirements is essential for this role.
• •Cert CII (minimum) with confident use of MS Office suite is essential, and a good understanding of Acturis is highly desirable.
• •Strong organisation, planning and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively, meet SLAs, and deliver a timely, high-quality service.
• •Excellent, influential communication with clients and insurers, underpinned by customer focus, commercial awareness, teamwork, perseverance, and a positive, self-developing mindset.

What You Will Get:

• •A salary of up to £55,000 depending on experience
