Role Purpose
We're looking for a Senior Accountant to own general ledger accounting for the management company and support the full accounting cycle, from journal entries through financial statement preparation. This role is a strong fit for someone who wants exposure across close, consolidation, and process improvement, and who's comfortable working cross-functionally with Finance, HR, and Operations.
What you'll do in the first 6-12 Months
Perform general ledger accounting for the management company, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and accruals.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Support multi-entity consolidation, including intercompany eliminations and reconciliations.
Handle day-to-day bookkeeping, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and expense allocations.
Support month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
Maintain bank reconciliations and monitor cash flows.
Support external audits and tax filings by preparing schedules and documentation.
Maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, HR, Operations) to ensure accurate reporting of corporate activity.
Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and implement best practices.
Minimum Requirements
Advanced degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
4-6 years of experience in corporate or management company accounting, with a background in audit or a related role.
Experience with multi-entity consolidation and intercompany accounting.
Strong command of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting standards.
Proficiency in Business Central, plus advanced Excel skills.
Curious, ambitious, and eager to work across various finance functions.
Strong communicator with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
CPA preferred.
