Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Solution & Technical Leadership

Lead end-to-end Adobe Commerce (Magento) solutioning: discovery, estimation, architecture, and delivery planning.

Translate business requirements into scalable Magento implementations (catalog, checkout, promotions, pricing, customer, order management).

Define technical standards for module development, theming, integrations, and release management.

Implementation & Delivery

Design and build custom Magento modules, plugins, observers, and APIs using PHP best practices and Magento patterns.

Implement and optimize storefront experiences (themes, layout XML, UI components) aligned with UX and performance goals.

Drive integrations with third-party services (payments, shipping, tax, ERP/CRM, PIM) using REST/GraphQL and secure integration patterns.

Quality, Performance & Operations

Ensure code quality through reviews, testing strategy, and adherence to Magento coding standards.

Diagnose and resolve production issues, performance bottlenecks, and scalability concerns (caching, indexing, database, search).

Support release cycles with environment readiness, deployment coordination, and rollback planning.

Collaboration & Mentorship

Partner with cross-functional teams to align technical decisions with business outcomes and timelines.

Mentor developers, share best practices, and contribute to continuous improvement of delivery processes.

Technical requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

BE, BTech, ME, MTech, MCA, MBA, or MSc.

5–9 years of overall experience with strong hands-on expertise in Adobe Commerce (Magento).

Solid experience building and customizing Magento solutions, including custom modules and storefront components.

Strong PHP development experience with an understanding of object-oriented design and maintainable code practices.

Experience working with Magento data structures and core commerce workflows (catalog, checkout, orders, customers).
