Senior Analytics Consultant

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Analytics Consultant.

In this role, you will:

Consult, review and research moderately complex business, operational, and technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable data factors

Perform moderately complex data analysis to support and drive strategic initiatives and business needs

Develop a deep understanding of technical systems and business processes to extract data driven insights while identifying opportunities for engineering enhancements

Lead or participate on large cross group projects

Mentor less experienced staff

Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, external contractors, and mid-level managers to resolve issues and achieve goals

Leverage a solid understanding of compliance and risk management requirements for supported area

Required Qualifications:

4+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

Experience in Risk Management, Compliance, Audit, or related functions.

4+ years of experience in Data Analytics or related disciplines.

Proficiency in SQL and strong SAS programming skills.

Strong understanding of risk assessment, exposure identification, and mitigation strategies.

Ability to evaluate business impact and organizational risk implications of key decisions.

Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint, and Power Apps.

Excellent verbal, written, and stakeholder communication skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.

Proven ability to exercise independent judgment and drive creative solutions.

Experience consulting with stakeholders to identify needs, build solutions, and improve processes.

Capability to simplify complex technical requirements and facilitate cross-functional collaboration.

Familiarity with Agile, project management, and change management methodologies.

Strong presentation and executive communication skills.

Job Expectations:

Drive regulatory readiness initiatives through robust data quality controls and governance.

Support adoption and maintenance of Mortgage Industry Standards Maintenance Organization (MISMO) standards.

Enhance operational resiliency planning and risk management practices.

Develop and modernize analytics, reporting, and monitoring capabilities to support regulatory and business objectives.
