Job Description:

We are searching for the best talent for Senior Automation Engineer Delta V position.

Seasoned individual contributor in a scientific/technology field. Helps establish and implements Automation for modernized and legacy systems, infrastructure, and services. Conducts the planning, design, scheduling and control of Automation projects to support new product development. Contributes to key performance indicator achievements and supports company initiatives.

You will be responsible for:

Under general direction/supervision and in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position

• •Assists in the management of existing equipment and control systems in assigned areas and helps determine reliability and need for updates.
• •Assists in establishing and implementing automation requirements and is responsible for the scheduling, resource management, maintenance, and operational support.
• •Conducts most complex assessments to determine regulatory compliance and any necessary improvements for regulation conformity.
• •Establishes automation deliverables timelines and ensures adherence to expected deadlines.
• •Coaches project management team in identification of scope changes, including provision of necessary information to support claims for time and cost impact.
• •Interviews and selects junior engineers based on position requirements and experience.
• •Coaches more junior colleagues in techniques, processes, and responsibilities.
• •Understands and applies Johnson & Johnson’s Credo and Leadership Imperatives in day-to-day interactions with team.

Qualifications / Requirements:

Education

• •BS. Degree in Engineering, IT, Science or related discipline.
• •6+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, biopharmaceutical or pharmaceutical industry, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience and Skills

Required:

• •Knowledge of S95 Level 1 systems such as Emerson Delta V, OSI Pi, PLCs, IT Infrastructure & Hardware.
• •MES (preferably in Werum PAS-X) and DeltaV Batch Control experience.
• •Knowledge of Industrial Automation Networks and their Communication Protocols.
• •Understanding of S95 level 4 systems and their capabilities such as ERP, Quality Systems, Data warehouses & CDL.
• •Understanding of the ISA S95 & S88 standards and how they should be used within the Global Supply Chain.
• •Understanding of OSI PI Historian and Werum MES.

Preferred:

• •Knowledge of cGMP regulations related to CSV including 21 CFR Part 11 and EU GMP Annex 11.
• •Proven experience within a pharmaceutical or GMP regulated manufacturing environment in an Automation or IT role.
• •Experience in supervision/management of people and resources.
• •Project Management certification and/of experience Process knowledge for Upstream, Downstream and Bio Processing Support functions.
• •Proven understanding of GAMP 5 and other recognized industry standard methodologies.
• •Good appreciation of Industry 4.0/IoT Good understanding of the developing Digital World to transform Biopharma
