Insurity’s Next Senior Business Analyst

You will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery and quality of Insurity’s Insurance software solution. As a Sr. Business Analyst, your primary focus will be to support the team by bridging business needs with technology, gathering and analyzing requirements, and facilitating communication to ensure alignment and clarity. This role involves developing deep expertise in commercial insurance domain, insurance data warehouses, and collaborating during testing phases to validate business solutions. You will strengthen the team’s capabilities by translating complex insurance requirements into actionable insights and supporting the delivery of high-value, high-quality software.

This role requires a strong commitment to continuous development of both technical knowledge and business acumen, with a focus on commercial insurance processing and reporting requirements including operational, financial and regulatory. The role also requires a commitment to assessing and supporting ongoing process improvement.

What Our Senior Business Analyst Will Do

Collaborate with teams and stakeholders to collect and clarify business and functional requirements

Drive automation and quality improvement from a business perspective by supporting testing strategy and validating requirements

Analyze current processes and systems to identify improvement opportunities aligned with project goals

Provide clear and concise documentation with business requirements, presentation mockups, and acceptance criteria

Facilitate requirement workshops and stakeholder communication, ensuring alignment and timely decisions

Support user acceptance testing and coordinate defect resolution with cross-functional teams

Perform and support testing efforts and artifacts, project status reporting, and requirement traceability documentation

Communicate project risks, concerns, and quality metrics to leadership and team members

Manage multiple priorities with strong time management and organizational skills

Participate in straightforward system design and configuration activities

Who We’re Looking For

Recommended: 6+ Years of experience as a Business Analyst in Commercial Insurance

Recommended: Bachelor’s degree in business, IT or a related field or equivalent work experience

Strong understanding of insurance domain, commercial Line of business like Auto, Property, Liability, Workers Compensation etc

Experience engaging with technical and business stakeholders in Agile and/or Waterfall environments

Proficiency with requirement gathering and documentation tools

Ability to effectively translate complex insurance requirements to technical teams and non-technical audiences

Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with attention to detail

Excellent verbal and written communication in English

Self-starter who thrives in a collaborative and evolving environment

Experience supporting testing activities and validating business scenarios

Familiarity with cloud-native SaaS software development is preferred

Having insurance-related certification like AINS, CPCU is a plus

There is a 25% travel that may be required.

We continuously analyze and update our salary ranges for our roles according to market trends to not only ensure our employees are paid fairly, but also help close gender, race, and disability wage gaps. Along with the benefits listed above, the career level salary range for this role is $70,000 to $140,000. We share a career level salary as a guideline; however, actual salary may vary based on your experience and qualifications.
