About the Role:

Location: Fully remote, with occasional in-person days at Birmingham Hub

Hours: A split shift built around the school day — 9:00am–2:30pm and 5:30pm–8:30pm, with the afternoon free for pickups, appointments, or whatever else needs doing. If you've been ruling out full-time roles because nothing fits around your kids' schedule, this one's designed to.

We're looking for an experienced Business Travel Consultant to join our Birmingham-hub team on a shift pattern that actually works around family life. Same great role, work, just split across the day so you're free for maybe the school run without giving up full-time hours or pay.

Key Responsibilities

Handle travel bookings, amendments, and cancellations for business travellers with a focus on quality service

Arrange European and domestic travel including flights, car rentals, and hotels

Manage client communications via live chat, phone, and email

Work autonomously on client enquiries and maintain GDS queues

Mentor junior team members and quality-check their work

Develop client relationships throughout the travel lifecycle

Required Qualifications

Expert knowledge of Galileo or Amadeus GDS systems, including ticket reissuing

Proficiency in air fares and ticketing

Previous business travel consultant experience

Fluent English (written and spoken)

Strong organisational skills and ability to work under pressure

Professional telephone manner and client-facing confidence

Comfortable managing a split-shift routine and picking work back up mid-evening

Working Hours & Conditions

Working hours are flexible to accommodate school picks up during the day.

Role will be fully remote however you will be required to come into the Birmingham Hub for training and special events.

How We Work

At Perk, we take an IRL-first approach to work, where our team works together in-person 3 days a week. As such, this role requires you to be based within commuting distance of our hubs.
