The role

As a Senior Cloud/DevOps Engineer, you are passionate about experience innovation and eager to push the boundaries of what’s possible. You bring at least 5 years of experience, a growth mindset and a drive to make a lasting impact.

You will thrive in this role if you are:

Experienced in Agile methodologies and consulting (a plus)

Role responsibilities

Co-own the development and operation of the client's cloud platform (GCP, Azure)

Advance the DevOps tooling: GitLab CI pipelines, ArgoCD, Apigee API Gateway, Backstage, Terraform/OpenTofu, Datadog, SonarQube, Python scripts, Keycloak

Act as go-to expert for Kubernetes (GKE)

Drive and contribute to architecture decisions for the cloud platform

Enable and support software development teams in using the cloud platform and DevOps tooling

Must have qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following essential qualifications:

Completed degree in Computer Science or related field

Several years of experience as a DevOps/Platform Engineer in a cloud environment

Strong hands-on expertise in Kubernetes, ArgoCD, and IaC tools (Terraform/OpenTofu)

Hands-on experience with cloud-native technologies across GCP

Solid Python skills

Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Kafka (Confluent Cloud)

Experience with GitLab CI pipelines and OAuth 2.0

Nice to have qualifications

Experience with Backstage or React

Experience with Datadog and SonarQube

Experience with Keycloak

Experience with Java Spring Boot or Kotlin
