More about the role:

We’re looking for a digital specialist with experience in paid media, SEO, and GEO.

This existing role will report to our Senior Director, Digital, the Digital/Social & Influencer Analyst will play a key role in supporting digital research, planning, and paid media solutions for our clients. This role will be responsible for helping to plan, implement, manage, and report on organic and paid media performance as well as SEO and GEO.

Based in Toronto, you will work within our Digital team, working closely with our practice teams and consultants across Canada to execute digital paid media across social, programmatic, and search.

The role is perfect for a digital marketing native, someone who has 4-6 years’ experience working hands-on within the social advertising platforms – including Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Google. They will have a proven ability to manage the end-to-end planning and optimization process. They will be responsible for supporting a range of clients and sectors—such as, Consumer, Health, Tech, Public Affairs, and Energy—with a variety of objectives.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

You will be responsible for supporting our sector teams and clients throughout the end-to-end campaign management process, including:

Research and development of paid media, SEO and GEO plans

Performance analysis and reporting for social, content, and digital paid media performance

Management and/or QA of paid media campaign creation and set-up process for social and digital paid campaigns

On-going monitoring, analysis, and optimization of campaign activity

Supporting budget reconciliation and finance management, as required

Maintain knowledge of industry best practices and new technologies

What you’ll need to get here:

4-6 years + of hands-on experience setting up, managing and optimizing digital media campaigns for brands – particularly on paid digital and social platforms

SEO and GEO experience

Agency-side experience is preferable, but in-house experience is also valuable

Experience managing digital public affairs campaigns an asset

In-depth experience across social platforms – Facebook/Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, SEM, and YouTube (and Google Ads more widely)

Web Analytics capabilities is a plus, especially knowledge of GA4 and unpacking acquisition trends

Any experience in other areas of digital media (programmatic, paid search, affiliates, SEO) is preferable, as is any experience in traditional media channels

High attention to detail

Experience delivering client service excellence

Capability to problem solve; Have a highly numerical and analytical approach

In Ontario, the base salary for this position at the time of this posting is indicated below. This range reflects our broader group’s compensation framework across diverse agencies and disciplines. For this specific role at Burson, our offer will be determined within this range based on our internal benchmark, reflecting the specific market conditions for our discipline. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including business needs, experience, level of responsibility and qualifications.​
