Senior Contract Consultant

What You'll Be Doing

• •Lead the execution of large and complex capital projects or multiple major projects simultaneously.
• •Provide strategic oversight to project management teams to ensure alignment with client objectives, budget, schedule, and quality expectations.
• •Develop and maintain strong relationships with client stakeholders, serving as a senior-level point of contact.
• •Monitor project performance, proactively identifying risks and implementing corrective actions when necessary.
• •Drive successful project outcomes by managing scope, schedule, cost, and resource requirements.
• •Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to Project Managers, Engineers, and other project team members.
• •Support project planning, execution strategies, and project controls activities.
• •Facilitate communication and coordination across engineering, procurement, construction, operations, and maintenance stakeholders.
• •Promote continuous improvement of project execution processes and best practices.
• •Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company standards throughout project execution.
• •Support business development efforts, project pursuits, and client engagement activities as requested.

Ideal Background

Education

• •Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related technical discipline preferred.
• •Equivalent industry experience will be considered.

Experience

• •15+ years of project management, program management, engineering, construction, or industrial leadership experience.
• •Demonstrated success leading large capital projects in the manufacturing, chemical, energy, pulp & paper, refining, utility, or industrial sectors.
• •Experience managing multidisciplinary project teams and multiple concurrent projects.
• •Strong track record of client relationship management and stakeholder engagement.
• •Experience supporting project financial performance, forecasting, budgeting, and risk management.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• •Proven leadership and team development capabilities.
• •Strong project execution and project delivery expertise.
• •Advanced understanding of project controls, scheduling, cost management, and risk mitigation.
• •Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• •Ability to influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.
• •Strong business acumen and financial management skills.
• •Knowledge of engineering, procurement, and construction processes.
• •Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• •Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• •Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management tools.
