Get to Know Us

Horizon3 is a fast-growing, remote cybersecurity company dedicated to the mission of enabling organizations to proactively find and fix and verify exploitable attack vectors before criminals exploit them. Our flagship product, the NodeZeroTM platform, delivers production-safe autonomous pentests and other key assessment operations that scale across the largest internal, external, cloud, and hybrid cloud environments. NodeZero has been adopted by organizations of all sizes, from small educational institutions to government agencies and Global 100 enterprises. It is used by ITOps/SecOps teams, consulting pentesters, and MSSPs and MSPs.

We are a fusion of former U.S. Special Operations cyber operators, startup engineers, and formerly frustrated cybersecurity practitioners. We're committed to helping solve our common security problems: ineffective security tools, false positives resulting in alert fatigue, blind spots, "checkbox” security culture, cybersecurity skills shortage, and the long lead time and expense of hiring outside consultants. Collectively, we are a team of learn it alls, committed to a culture of respect, collaboration, ownership, and results.

What You’ll Do

The Senior Customer Enablement Manager is responsible for bringing the foundational Horizon3 Customer Academy to life and helping customers realize value from NodeZero faster.

This role will design, build, and continuously improve a customer learning experience that enables customers to confidently use NodeZero across its capabilities, tiers, workflows, and functionality. The focus is practical, technical, and outcome-oriented: customers should not only understand what NodeZero does, but also be able to use it effectively in their own environments.

You will build customer certifications, technical “how-to” modules, guided learning paths, hands-on exercises, and other enablement experiences that accelerate time to value, improve adoption, and create a consistent standard for customer readiness.

This is a highly hands-on role. You will personally create and refine learning content while partnering closely with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, Sales Engineering, Product Marketing, Attack Research, and other subject-matter experts. The ideal candidate combines strong NodeZero domain knowledge (or the ability to build that knowledge quickly) with excellent instructional design and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, useful, and impactful customer education.

You will work closely with the Head of Global Enablement and the broader enablement, Customer Success, Product, and technical SME communities across Horizon3 .

Customer Academy Strategy and Architecture

Help define and bring to life the foundational Horizon3 Customer Academy.

Build a clear curriculum architecture that organizes learning by customer role, use case, capability, product tier, and level of proficiency.

Define learning paths that take customers from foundational concepts through advanced NodeZero usage and operational best practices.

Establish a scalable framework for customer education that can grow as NodeZero capabilities, products, and customer needs evolve.

Partner with Customer Success and Product leadership to prioritize the learning experiences that will have the greatest impact on adoption and time to value.

Customer Certifications and Readiness Programs

Design and launch customer certification programs that validate practical ability, not just content completion.

Define certification levels, learning requirements, assessments, hands-on activities, and completion criteria.

Build certifications that help customers demonstrate proficiency across NodeZero workflows, capabilities, and use cases.

Create practical assessments such as knowledge checks, scenario-based exercises, configuration activities, test planning, result interpretation, and reporting workflows.

Establish a repeatable approach to maintaining, improving, and expanding certifications as the platform evolves.

Technical “How-To” Content and Hands-On Learning

Create clear, practical technical modules that show customers how to use NodeZero effectively.

Develop step-by-step learning experiences covering core workflows, configuration, test execution, findings review, reporting, remediation validation, and other relevant platform functionality.

Translate complex technical concepts into concise, usable instruction that customers can apply in their own environments.

Build a blend of formats, including interactive lessons, demonstrations, walkthroughs, videos, job aids, reference guides, scenario-based exercises, and hands-on labs where appropriate.

Ensure content reflects the real customer experience, including prerequisites, expected outcomes, common mistakes, troubleshooting guidance, and indicators of successful execution.

NodeZero Product and Domain Enablement

Develop and maintain deep working knowledge of NodeZero, its capabilities, product tiers, technical workflows, and customer use cases.

Become a trusted translator between Product and technical subject-matter experts and the customer learning audience.

Stay current on product releases, roadmap changes, technical enhancements, attack research, and evolving customer needs.

Convert new functionality and product changes into customer-ready learning experiences in partnership with Product and Customer Success.

Help identify gaps where customers need clearer guidance, better workflows, or additional education to achieve meaningful outcomes.

Subject-Matter Expert Partnership

Build strong working relationships with Product, Engineering, Sales Engineering, Customer Success, Product Marketing, Attack Research, and other technical SMEs.

Create efficient processes for gathering expertise, validating technical accuracy, and turning SME knowledge into structured customer learning.

Facilitate content reviews and maintain a high bar for accuracy, clarity, usability, and instructional quality.

Make it easy for SMEs to contribute without requiring them to own the entire learning design or content-production process.

Establish clear ownership, review cycles, and update processes so customer education stays accurate as the platform evolves.

Learning Experience Design and Content Production

Personally design and produce high-quality customer enablement content for live, virtual, and self-paced learning experiences.

Use adult learning principles, instructional design best practices, and customer-centered design to create experiences that change behavior and build confidence.

Use tools such as Articulate Rise and other content creation, screen recording, video, assessment, and learning management platforms to produce engaging learning experiences.

Build reusable templates and standards for lessons, modules, assessments, facilitator guides, labs, and certification materials.

Continuously improve content based on customer feedback, learner performance, product changes, and adoption data.

Measurement, Adoption, and Continuous Improvement

Define and track measures of customer readiness, engagement, certification, adoption, and time to value.

Use completion data, assessment results, customer feedback, support themes, and Customer Success insights to identify learning gaps and improvement opportunities.

Partner with Customer Success and Operations to understand whether academy participation and certification correlate with stronger adoption and customer outcomes.

Maintain a clear roadmap for new courses, certifications, updates, and retired content.

Share progress, risks, and impact with enablement and cross-functional leadership.
