[What the role is]

Are you passionate about startups, innovation and building communities? Do you enjoy working with partners, creating engaging content and bringing large-scale events to life?

We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven individual to join the Startup Community team to support the planning and delivery of Singapore Week of Innovation and Technology (SWITCH)—Asia's leading innovation and technology platform that brings together startups, investors, corporates, researchers and policymakers from around the world.

  • As part of the Ecosystem & Community division, you will play a key role in developing content, engaging ecosystem partners, and supporting the execution of marketing and outreach initiatives that strengthen SWITCH's global profile and deliver a meaningful experience for our partners and attendees.
  • This is an exciting opportunity to work with leading innovation ecosystem partners while contributing to Singapore's position as a global innovation hub.

[What you will be working on]

This portfolio plays a key role in supporting the planning, coordination and delivery of SWITCH through content development, ecosystem engagement, marketing and outreach, and event operations.

SWITCH Planning and Programme Delivery

Support the planning and execution of key SWITCH workstreams, working closely with internal teams, ecosystem partners and external vendors to ensure successful delivery of programme objectives.

Coordinate the development of SWITCH content, including conference sessions, innovation showcases, exhibition features and marketing materials.

SLINGSHOT and Competition Operations

Support the planning and delivery of SLINGSHOT, including coordination with appointed vendors, management of timelines and competition operations.

Work with relevant internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure timely and effective delivery of programme requirements.

Partner Engagement and Outreach

Engage and collaborate with ecosystem partners, startups, corporates and other stakeholders to drive participation and support partnership activities for SWITCH.

Support the development and coordination of marketing and promotional initiatives across digital and offline channels to increase awareness and engagement.

Digital Platforms, Operations and Reporting

Support the management of SWITCH's digital platforms and event systems, including website content, registration and attendee engagement platforms.

Assist in post-event reporting, data collation and operational activities to support continuous improvement efforts for SWITCH.

[What we are looking for]

Strong understanding of Business, Marketing, Communications, Events Management or a related discipline.

2–3 years of relevant experience in events, partnerships, marketing, communications or stakeholder engagement.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop clear and engaging content for different audiences.

Strong stakeholder management skills, with confidence engaging ecosystem partners, startups and vendors.

Highly organised with strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment.

Proactive, resourceful and detail-oriented, with a strong sense of ownership and follow-through.

Passion for Singapore's startup and innovation ecosystem is an advantage.

How We Work Together

We value individuals who work well with others, communicate clearly, take ownership of their work, and are open to learning and improvement. You should be comfortable navigating change and contributing positively to a collaborative team environment.
