Sr. Dispatch Supervisor

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead daily ready mix dispatch operations to ensure safe, efficient, and on-time product deliveries.
  • Optimize fleet and driver scheduling to maximize service levels and operational performance.
  • Monitor transportation and dispatch metrics, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Partner with operations, sales, and customer service teams to quickly resolve issues and enhance the customer experience.
  • Coach, develop, and support dispatch team members while promoting a culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork.

What Are We Looking For

  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and coordinate work in a dynamic transportation, logistics, or operations environment.
  • Strong knowledge of dispatching, routing, fleet coordination, and customer service practices.
  • Proven capability to analyze operational data, solve problems, and make sound business decisions.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills with the ability to build positive relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Strong organizational skills and proficiency with transportation, dispatch, and business management systems.

Work Environment

  • Primarily office-based with regular interaction with drivers, operations personnel, and customers.
  • Fast-paced environment requiring effective prioritization and responsiveness to changing business needs.
  • Frequent use of computers, dispatch software, and communication systems.
  • May require occasional travel and flexibility in work schedules to support State of Georgia operational requirements.
