Reports to: Senior Manager, Project Engineering & Reliability

Make a difference by leading high-impact electrical capital projects that improve safety, reliability, quality, energy efficiency, and operational performance at our manufacturing site.

As a Senior Electrical Project Engineer, you will lead electrical engineering activities throughout the project lifecycle, from concept development and front-end engineering through detailed design, construction, commissioning, start-up, and closeout. You will ensure electrical systems are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with company standards and local regulations. This role reports to the Senior Manager, Project Engineering & Reliability and has no direct reports.

What you will do:

Lead project execution - Manage the electrical engineering scope of capital projects from feasibility through closeout, ensuring safe, timely, and cost-effective delivery.

Design electrical systems - Develop and review medium- and low-voltage distribution, MCCs, transformers, switchgear, cables, grounding, protection systems, and related infrastructure.

Develop capital projects - Support feasibility studies, FEL/FEED deliverables, scope definition, CAPEX estimates, equipment selection, and technical specifications.

Manage contractors and consultants - Coordinate engineering consultants, EPC contractors, suppliers, technical deliverables, schedules, quality, and costs.

Support construction and commissioning - Provide field engineering support during construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up, and performance testing.

Ensure safety and compliance - Confirm designs and installations meet applicable codes, engineering standards, environmental requirements, and company safety expectations.

Improve reliability and collaborate - Enhance electrical reliability, maintainability, energy efficiency, and operational performance while partnering with Operations, Maintenance, Reliability, EHS, Automation, and Procurement.

What you will bring:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.

Minimum 7 years of experience in industrial manufacturing, food processing, chemical, petrochemical, energy, or a similar processing industry.

Experience delivering capital projects involving electrical systems and infrastructure, including FEL/FEED, EPC execution, or brownfield projects.

Knowledge of power distribution, MCCs, transformers, switchgear, protection systems, industrial electrical installations, and electrical safety requirements.

Ability to travel across multiple sites and good written and spoken English.
