About the Opportunity

ACCIONA Infrastructure is growing its Origination team in NSW, driving the pursuit of major road, rail, water and energy projects across Australia. As Senior Estimating Manager, you will lead cost estimation across a pipeline of upcoming tenders, working closely with engineering, commercial and bid leadership to develop competitive, accurate estimates that win work. You will report into the Origination leadership team and play a central role in shaping bid strategy from early opportunity assessment through to submission.

This is a chance to lead complex, high-value estimating work, build strong cross-functional relationships and influence the direction of some of the country's most significant infrastructure projects.

Key Accountabilities

Lead cost estimates for major infrastructure tenders

Manage multiple bids at once, working to tight deadlines

Direct quantity take-offs and cost forecasting

Review subcontractor and supplier quotes for accuracy

Build estimating strategy with commercial and engineering teams

Present estimate outcomes to senior leadership

Maintain and improve estimating tools and methodology

Required Skills and Competencies

Degree in engineering, construction or related field

Significant experience estimating major infrastructure projects

Strong grasp of first-principles estimating methods

Proven ability to lead multiple concurrent bids

Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
