Job Description

This is a fixed term contract until November 2027

The Senior Finance Manager will be a key member of the Visa Direct Network & Operations FP&A team, providing financial leadership, insight, and analytical support across revenue planning, forecasting, performance management, and client-level reporting.

The role will take ownership of the financial planning and reporting activities supporting both the Visa Direct Account (VDA), Visa Direct Wallet (VDW) and CurrencyCloud businesses, with a particular focus on CurrencyCloud revenue forecasting, transaction and foreign exchange volumes, client performance, month-end reporting, and data integrity. You will partner closely with regional FP&A, Sales, Account Management, Revenue Operations, and Data Insights teams to improve financial visibility, explain performance, identify risks and opportunities, and support informed decision-making.

This is a hands-on role that combines commercial finance partnering with detailed financial analysis, systems expertise, and reporting transformation.

Financial Planning and Forecasting

• •Lead the revenue components of the Annual Operating Plan and quarterly Outlook processes for the relevant VDNO business areas.
• •Develop robust revenue forecasts using client-level revenue, transaction volume, payment value, foreign exchange volume, sales pipeline, launch timing, and churn assumptions.
• •Partner with regional FP&A teams to provide accurate and timely client-level revenue and volume information.
• •Work with Sales and Account Management teams to understand expected client performance, new opportunities, implementation timelines, and emerging revenue risks.
• •Produce forecasts for key revenue streams, including transactional revenue, FX Marketplace revenue, interest income, and payment transaction volumes.
• •Maintain and enhance forecasting models, ensuring assumptions are transparent, appropriately documented, and supported by underlying data.
• •Prepare clear commentary and presentation materials explaining forecast movements, assumptions, risks, and opportunities.
• •Coordinate the loading of revenue forecasts into Oracle EPM and support restatement of the plan using updated constant-dollar exchange rates.

Month-End Revenue Performance and Reconciliation

• •Own the month-end client revenue reconciliation following the financial close.
• •Develop a complete view of revenue by client and revenue stream to support variance analysis against budget and forecast.
• •Ensure revenue information is accurately loaded and available in the relevant reporting.
• •Maintain a strong control environment around client-level revenue reporting, reconciliation, and data lineage.

Management Reporting and Business Performance

• •Lead the preparation of FP&A revenue reporting and commentary for monthly flash and performance review processes.
• •Provide regional FP&A teams with clear explanations of revenue performance and material variances.
• •Produce and distribute client-level revenue reporting to support regional and central finance requirements.
• •Translate complex revenue and operational data into concise, decision-relevant insights for senior finance and business stakeholders.
• •Identify underlying performance drivers, distinguishing sustainable business trends from timing differences, manual adjustments, credits, reserves, and other one-off items.

AI: Data, Reporting, and Business Intelligence

• •Leverage AI to enhance, simplify, automate, and improve the scalability existing processes for the production and distribution of recurring financial and operational reporting across the VDNO business
• •Maintain and enhance the existing reporting suites, with focus on customer/base activity, revenue, commissions, payment, collection, FX, client cash balance, and trade roll reporting.
• •Partner with Data Insights and technology teams to test and implement improvements to revenue reporting.

Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

• •Graduate, undergraduate degree and/or other Finance-related professionally recognized accreditations (e.g. CIMA, ACA, ACCA)
• •Professional finance experience, preferably in global publicly listed, government regulated payments company

Highly strategic combined with a strong business acumen

Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to be able to “connect the dots” and approach issue resolution with a “forward-looking” view to anticipate and address problems.

Capable of handling and prioritizing multiple tasks, possess good judgment and organizational skills, able to work independently and be flexible.
