Senior Financial Analyst, Amazon Ads Sales Finance EU

Amazon seeks a Senior Financial Analyst, focused on Prime Video Ads (PVA), to support its growing European Amazon Advertising business. PVA is one of Amazon Advertising's fastest-scaling businesses, bringing premium streaming video advertising to millions of engaged viewers across EU5+ markets. The right candidate will work on PVA planning and forecasting rhythm, identify and drive strategic initiatives to accelerate growth (advertiser migration, product monetisation, supply optimisation), pricing analysis and bring AI-driven efficiencies to finance operations. The ideal candidate combines commercial instinct with analytical depth, thrives in ambiguity, builds mechanisms that outlive them, and is able to collaborate effectively across Go-To-Market, Finance, Sales and Product teams.

• Key job responsibilities
• - Revenue forecasting for Prime Video Ads
• - Reporting and analysis of latest sales results to inform Weekly Business Review (WBR), Monthly Video Review and EU Video Sales Quarterly Business Review
• - Track opportunities and risks at country level, proactively flagging concerns, quantifying revenue opportunities and recommending actions to Sales leadership
• - Partner with the Prime Video team on monetization initiatives at the product level to accelerate revenue and improve efficiency
• - Own the financial framework for initiatives — track performance, identify optimisation levers and drive cross-team accountability on execution.
• - Own delivery metrics analysis in partnership with Product and Data Science — connect operational metrics to revenue outcomes and identify where operational improvements unlock incremental revenue
• - Design self-serve reporting infrastructure — dashboards (QuickSight, Tableau), automated data pipelines, and AI-enhanced tools that enable Sales and Leadership to access insights without finance bottlenecking.
• - Author and distribute regular strategic priority newsletters to Leadership — providing concise updates on in-flight initiatives, emerging risks, key decisions needed, and progress against goals. Drive alignment and decision velocity across the organisation.

Basic qualifications

• - Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field
• - Experience in relevant finance roles
• - Experience in forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and interpreting financial results

Preferred qualifications

• - Professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent)
• - Experience using financial models, KPIs, and data analysis to support business decisions
• - Experience developing financial models in Excel with advanced functions (pivot tables, macros, VBA, Power Query)
• - Experience in creating process improvements with automation and analysis
• - Experience working with stakeholders
