Role Overview

The Senior Financial Crime Risk Analyst, FCRM Reporting and Strategic Insights, Canada, is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining innovative automation solutions that enhance Financial Crime Risk Management (FCRM) governance, reporting, and strategic insight capabilities.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, FCRM Reporting and Strategic Insights, Canada, the role partners closely with stakeholders across FCRM to identify opportunities to streamline processes, automate workflows, improve data quality, and generate actionable insights that support informed executive decision-making. The successful candidate will combine strong technical and analytical capabilities with business acumen, curiosity, and a passion for leveraging emerging technologies to drive efficiency, effectiveness, and continuous improvement.

Key Accountabilities

• •Design, develop, and maintain automated workflows, applications, dashboards, and reporting solutions using Microsoft technologies, including Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, Copilot, and SharePoint that improve operational efficiency, strengthen controls, and enhance data quality.
• •Leverage data analytics and visualization techniques to transform complex information into meaningful insights that support executive and management decision-making.
• •Support the development, execution, and continuous enhancement of the FCRM governance automation roadmap and strategic initiatives.
• •Actively contribute to FCRM automation forums and working groups, including coordinating meetings, preparing materials, tracking actions, and monitoring progress against objectives.
• •Collaborate with FCRM stakeholders to understand challenges, gather requirements, and translate business needs into scalable and sustainable automation solutions.
• •Review and challenge business requirements to ensure alignment with strategic objectives, governance standards, and long-term solution sustainability.
• •Complete and maintain required governance, risk, and control assessments and supporting evidence related to Model Risk, End User Computing (EUC), Privacy, and Technology governance requirements.
• •Conduct solution testing, validation, and quality check activities to ensure accuracy, reliability, and compliance with established standards.
• •Monitor and maintain existing automation solutions, identify enhancement opportunities, and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• •Develop and maintain supporting documentation, including procedures, user guides, training materials, job aids, and technical specifications.
• •Stay current with emerging technologies, industry trends, and leading practices related to automation, artificial intelligence, data analytics, and Microsoft platforms, including Copilot.
• •Build and maintain strong collaborative relationships with business, governance, technology, and risk stakeholders across FCRM and the broader organization.
• •Promote a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, data-driven decision-making, and responsible AI adoption across FCRM.

Job Qualifications / Skills / Experience

• •Minimum 3 years of experience designing, developing, and supporting automation solutions using Microsoft technologies such as Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, SharePoint, and Copilot.
• •University degree in Business or Computer Science and Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) preferred.
• •Experience working in Financial Crime Risk Management (FCRM), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), compliance, risk management, governance, audit, or a related field.
• •Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and quality.
• •Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• •Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills, including the ability to influence and collaborate across multiple teams.
• •Proven ability to manage competing priorities, adapt to changing business needs, and deliver high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
