Financial Planning & Analysis Team at Lead
The Financial Planning & Analysis team ensures Lead's future by turning financial and operational data into actionable business strategy. Working closely with all team heads, they are responsible for budgeting, forecasting, scenario modeling, performance reporting, and strategic advising. They provide executive leaders with insight into all investments and growth initiatives, bringing clarity to complex decision-making. Their work guarantees that the company allocates resources thoughtfully and executes against its goals. Role Description
We are looking to hire a Senior FP&A & Treasury Strategy Analyst to join a growing team of finance and accounting professionals. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing financial insights to stakeholders, supporting planning and forecasting activities, and contributing to the build and development of FP&A tools - with a core focus on bank balance sheet modeling, capital allocation, and regulatory ratio calculations.
In this role you will:
Develop, own, and maintain bank balance sheet and capital allocation models to optimize net interest income (NII), manage liquidity, and inform asset-liability management (ALM) strategy (such as allocating balance sheet capacity to various asset alternatives).
Familiarity with forward flow, ABS-style structures
Incorporate regulatory capital and liquidity ratio considerations (e.g., LCR, NSFR, CET1, Tier 1 Leverage) into integrated financial planning, stress testing, and scenario analysis.
Develop and maintain financial models for strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning
Perform variance analysis to identify financial discrepancies and provide insights
Ensure data accuracy and completeness through data cleansing and quality assurance procedures
Build and prepare reports to communicate financial findings and recommendations
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and support financial planning initiatives
Build and improve cashflow planning processes and analytics
Support the development of cost allocations and profitability analytics
Clearly communicate financial data and analysis to stakeholders
Document financial models and assumptions to ensure transparency and maintain institutional knowledge
Demonstrate a mindset that balances operational excellence and continuous improvement
Prepare ad hoc financial reporting and analysis as needed to support decision-making
Perform all other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
4-6+ years of experience in FP&A, Corporate Treasury, or Asset-Liability Management (ALM) - ideally within a Corporate Treasury division at a major financial institution or a high-growth Fintech preferred
Deep proficiency in balance sheet modeling, including interest rate risk (IRRBB), capital planning, and bank regulatory frameworks.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
Experience building and maintaining financial models
Skilled at analyzing financial data to identify trends, patterns, and key insights
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with additional skills in FP&A software like Vena and use of AI software preferred
Intellectually curious
Strong attention to detail, judgment, and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
