Senior Full Stack Engineer

About the Role

This is a senior engineering role on a product-focused team building a secure, scalable AI platform for the SME sector. You will own complex architectural challenges end-to-end, helping grow an established platform to its next stage of scale. Your work will directly shape the systems and standards that the broader engineering team builds on.

What You'll Do

Own the most complex architectural problems across the platform, including multi-terabyte data synchronization and secure sandbox infrastructure.

Architect, build, and ship high-quality full-stack features using React and TypeScript with a focus on long-term scalability and user experience.

Design and implement systems to synchronize and index large volumes of client data while enforcing permissions.

Build infrastructure to process millions of LLM calls per month with high reliability and security.

Implement scalable, secure code sandbox solutions capable of spawning thousands of sandboxes per day.

Create base infrastructure and tooling for fast custom integrations so new systems can be connected quickly.

Collaborate on technical roadmaps and align on architectural decisions with the development team.

Debug production incidents, identify root causes, and implement durable fixes to keep the platform stable.

Mentor junior engineers and raise the bar through constructive, thorough code reviews.

Continuously improve development processes, code quality standards, and overall team performance.

What We're Looking For

7 or more years of professional software engineering experience with a strong full-stack background, including clearly demonstrated frontend work.

Production experience with React, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.

Hands-on experience with tRPC, Kubernetes, and modern frontend tooling.

Proven track record designing, scaling, and maintaining complex software architectures for high-growth products.

Experience operating at scale: large dataset synchronization, high-volume API or LLM processing, and secure multi-tenant infrastructure.

Demonstrated end-to-end ownership of substantial initiatives from conception through delivery and operation.

A genuine interest in mentoring engineers and actively shaping engineering standards.

Strong product ownership mindset with attention to user experience and long-term product success.

Comfortable working at pace in a high-growth environment.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: 70,000 to 90,000 EUR annually . Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

Hybrid role based in Munich, Bavaria, Germany . Candidates must be located in Munich.
