Proactively identify accounting risks, control gaps, and process inefficiencies, recommending and implementing sustainable solutions to strengthen controls and improve operational effectiveness.
Lead process improvement initiatives focused on standardization, automation, scalability, and enhanced financial reporting quality across the accounting function.
Develop, maintain, and continuously enhance accounting procedures, policies, and process documentation to support operational excellence and knowledge transfer.
Support the design, execution, and monitoring of internal controls, ensuring compliance with GAAP, SOX requirements, and company policies.
Build strong cross-functional partnerships with Finance, FP&A, Operations, Procurement, HR, and other business stakeholders to provide accounting guidance and support strategic business initiatives.
Provide mentorship, guidance, and subject matter expertise to less experienced accounting team members, supporting their development and promoting consistency in accounting practices.
