(Senior) Lab Technician Analytical Development (m/w)

The site in Visp, Switzerland is growing and for our analytical development team for mammalian products, we are seeking experienced (Senior) Laboratory Technicians with significant work experience in CE or icIEF and a passion for driving our team forward, a passion for analytics to join our Lonza talent community. Key responsibilities:

• •Execution of routine analytical methods in an analytical development environment
• •Investigations of unexpected results and troubleshooting in the laboratory
• •Maintenance of laboratory equipment and responsibility for associated laboratory activities
• •Generation and collection of high-quality data, including performing data analysis and interpretation of results
• •Collaboration in interdisciplinary project teams to perform studies and support scientifically based solutions to complex problems
• •Implementation of improvements and new technical solutions

Key requirements:

• •Lab Technician Training or BSc degree in Life Sciences
• •Previous experience in analytical laboratories and/or in industry is required
• •Demonstrated experience in lab instrument troubleshooting and maintenance
• •Expertise in protein analytics (e.g, CE SDS, icIEF, HPLC or LC-MS)
• •Knowledge in method development is an added advantage
