Senior Manager Corporate Communications (all genders)

Responsibilities:

*1. Content Creation & Editorial Expertise*

• •Draft corporate press releases, media statements and press contributions
• •Draft strategy messaging documents, leadership talking points and Q&As
• •Translate Evotec’s strategy, science and financials into clear public language
• •Coordinate the editorial plan for the strategic communications pipeline

*2. Technical & Regulatory Coordination*

• •Coordinate the internal press release review and approval process
• •Coordinate the press release distribution and technical publication process
• •Coordinate with IR on required notifications to regulatory authorities
• •Coordinate with Marketing on web and social media updates

*3. Media Relations Operations*

• •Manage media requests and draft responses
• •Handle journalist outreach and follow-ups
• •Prepare interview briefings and backgrounders
• •Monitor media activity and share relevant coverage with internal stakeholders

*4. Governance & Qualiy Control*

• •Ensure consistent messaging across all communication assets
• •Safeguard comms templates, corporate design and guidelines

*5. Project & Campaign Execution*

• •Build strong internal network to facilitate and catalyze access to news flow
• •Coordinate and collaborate with communication agencies
• •Liaise with design and video agencies for visual and multimedia assets

Qualifications:

• •Bachelor's or Master's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field
• •Several years of experience in a comparable position
• •Strong communicator and networker
• •Self-starter, high level of self-initiative, strong hands-on mentality
• •Independent, self-organized, pro-active, high‑output
• •Highly resilient, calm under pressure
• •Able to work closely with / challenge senior stakeholders
• •Professional with PR / media / content background
• •Exceptional writing skills (English + German)
• •Experience with media work and ideally press office operations
• •Strong project manager, organized, reliable
• •Science background or high learning ability to navigate science context
• •Comfortable translating science into accessible content
