Senior Manager - Legal & Compliance

About the Role:

We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Legal & Compliance Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of experience in corporate law, compliance, contract management, and risk mitigation. You will play a key role in ensuring legal and regulatory compliance while providing strategic legal support to the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate various agreements, including vendor contracts, NDAs, service agreements, and employment contracts.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the company complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.

Dispute Resolution: Assist in handling legal disputes, litigation, and arbitration, coordinating with external legal counsel as needed.

Risk Management: Identify potential legal risks and provide proactive solutions to mitigate them.

Corporate Governance: Support board meetings, maintain statutory records, and ensure compliance with corporate governance requirements.

Employment Law: Advise on labor laws, employee policies, and workplace compliance.

Intellectual Property: Assist in managing trademarks, copyrights, and other IP-related matters.

Legal Advisory: Provide legal guidance on business strategies, new policies, and risk assessment.

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Law (LLB/LLM).

5-8 years of experience in corporate legal roles, preferably in a startup or fast-paced environment.

Strong knowledge of contract law, corporate governance, and compliance frameworks.

Experience working with external legal counsel and regulatory bodies.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.

Ability to work independently while collaborating with multiple stakeholders.
