- About the role:
- CHANEL is seeking a Senior Manager, Makeup Brand Management, Lip & Collections to join our F&B Division in New York. This role will lead marketing strategy for Lip & Collections categories in the US market, driving brand desirability, client engagement, and long-term growth.
You will be responsible for supporting in defining product positioning, leading go-to-market strategies, and orchestrating 360-degree campaigns across channels. This role requires strong collaboration with Global F&B teams and cross-functional partners including Retail & Trade Marketing, Merchandise Planning, Commercial Development, E-Retail, CRM, Brand Communications, Digital and Education to ensure consistent and impactful storytelling.
The ideal candidate brings beauty expertise, strong strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of the US makeup market.
What impact you can create at CHANEL:
Drive brand awareness, client engagement, and revenue growth for Lip & Collections categories by developing 360-degree marketing strategies, managing product launches, and directing client experiences.
Strategy & Brand Management
Develop objectives, goals, strategies, and measures for respective categories & brands.
Implement go-to-market and launch strategies, tracking objectives and KPIs to inform future business decisions.
- Analyze orchestration and product performance, identifying opportunities, challenges and business needs and developing insights to inform future orchestrations.
- Monitor US innovation and market trends, sharing insights to inform product and campaign direction.
- Lead re-pricing analyses & strategy to ensure product pricing is both globally and locally relevant, and competitively positioned.
- Provide guidance to core cross-functional partners on A&P spend based on brand goals.
Product Portfolio & Lifecycle Management
Influence forecasting of new product launches and oversee new SKU creation/data integrity.
Oversee category management and assortment evolution, including renovations and discontinuations to optimize category growth and client acquisition.
360 Marketing Campaigns
- Brief and lead the cross-functional development of 360-degree marketing, collaborating cross-functionally with Retail & Trade, Commercial Development, Brand Communications and DCX teams.
- Drive omnichannel strategies, integrating physical and digital client experiences to deliver seamless journeys across all CHANEL touchpoints.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Global Marketing, Retail & Trade, Merchandise Planning, Commercial Development, E-Retail, CRM, Brand Communications, Digital and Education, and Sales to ensure cohesive orchestration execution for campaigns and product launches.
- Manage orchestration calendars and launch briefs, ensure timely delivery to all channels of distribution, working closely with the cross-functional teams.
- Create and deliver best-in-class presentations and materials for retail, market, and internal meetings.

- Deep understanding of prestige beauty marketing, preferably in Makeup
- Strong knowledge of the US market and luxury client expectations
- Ability to influence and collaborate across diverse stakeholders
- Strong strategic thinking and execution capabilities
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills
- High attention to detail and ability to manage complex projects
Position Logistics:
- Partially Remote: Role requires a minimum of three days in-person office presence at NYC office
- Bachelor’s degree in related field required
- Beauty marketing experience, preferably in Prestige
- High proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Excel, PowerPoint)
Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $92,400 through $140,000. Base salary is one component of the total compensation for this position. Other components will include additional compensation, benefits, and perks.
