A bit about your role

This role plays a key part in enabling the successful delivery of the nbn network to newly developed properties through effective financial planning, governance, and performance management. The position is responsible for overseeing Revenue, Capex, Opex ensuring strong compliance with regulatory, financial, and governance requirements, including TIND and internal control frameworks. Working collaboratively across the New Developments team, the role develops business cases, supports funding and investment decisions, provides meaningful reporting and insights, and drives continuous improvement in forecasting and analytics. By ensuring sound governance, informed decision-making, and efficient resource allocation, the role supports strategic outcomes, strengthens developer partnerships, and helps accelerate customer connections to the nbn network.

A bit about you

The ideal candidate brings strong expertise in financial planning, governance, and commercial analysis, supported by relevant qualifications in business, finance, commerce, economics, engineering, or a related discipline, with professional certifications such as CPA, CA, or CFA considered highly valued. They will have demonstrated experience in business case development, revenue, capex and opex forecasting, deal governance, pricing compliance, and regulatory requirements. The role requires advanced analytical and reporting capabilities, including the ability to translate data into actionable insights that support strategic decision-making. Success in the role will be supported by strong collaboration, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills, along with experience driving process improvements, leading change initiatives, leveraging digital and analytics tools, and working across complex, cross-functional environments. Knowledge of the telecommunications, property development, or related sectors, together with an understanding of compliance and regulatory frameworks, will be advantageous
