About the Team

Fanatics is looking for a Senior Manager, Strategy & Partnerships to decide what Fanatics ONE delivers to members, secure the supply behind it, and manage the partners who provide it.

Fanatics ONE recognizes fans across the entire Fanatics ecosystem. Members earn gifts, event experiences, and event tickets, among other benefits. Two teams deliver that work: one runs gifting operations, one runs event production. This role sits alongside them and answers a different question. Are we delivering the right things, to the right members, from the right partners, at the optimal cost.

Expanding capacity is the leading task in front of this function. The limit on the program is not how many members we have, it is what we can source, fund, and deliver to them.

Three things sit here. The programmatic plan, meaning what a member at each tier receives and what it costs us to deliver. The supply base behind that plan, across internal Fanatics teams and outside partners. And the measurement that says whether any of it is working.

You will manage a junior resource and receive additional support from dedicated finance and analytics teammates. You will work closely with Gifting Operations, Event Production, VIP Hosting, Legal, Finance, Data, and counterparts across Fanatics Commerce and Collectibles.

This is a hands-on builder's seat. The function is new, and the person who succeeds here will be as comfortable in a spreadsheet as in a partner meeting.

Responsibilities

What we deliver, and to whom

Own the programmatic plan: what members at each tier receive, when they receive it, and what it costs

Own the demand side: build and narrow recipient lists with the data team, and make the judgment calls on who gets what

Own benefits matrix adherence and how budget is allocated across gifting and event production

Build and develop the Infinite Rewards catalog

Supply and capacity

Own the 6-12 month supply plan: what we need to be able to offer, at what volume, and what it takes to get there

Own internal Fanatics sourcing across product, memorabilia, and trading cards

Own third-party sourcing and vendor management functions

Find and remove whatever caps what the delivery teams can execute, whether that is a supplier, a contract, a cost, or a lead time

Turn Fanatics advantages into benefits members cannot get anywhere else, and make them repeatable

Partner management

Own partner relationships after signature, and turn signed agreements into benefits members actually receive

Manage delivery across the live partner programs, including cruise, resort, and hospitality

Hold partners to their commitments, and bring renewals forward with a recommendation attached

Measurement and accountability

Optimize ROI for every benefit we deliver

Drive maximum suite and ticket utilization towards highest-value members

Direct finance and analytics support toward the questions that decide where we invest

Give leadership one clear view of what we spend, on whom, and what it returns

Team and ways of working

Lead and develop a small team, starting with internal sourcing

Build the standing process for how a benefit gets proposed, priced, approved, and handed to a delivery team

Be the single place direction reaches the delivery teams, so changes arrive as a plan with a cost and a date

Experience and skills

6+ years across consulting, strategy, or category management

Has owned a plan and a number, not only executed someone else's

Fluency using AI LLMs, including MCPs and agentic workflows

Comfortable in the data: pulls and trims lists, builds a cost model, and defends an allocation decision to senior leadership

Real commercial experience managing partners and holding them to what they agreed to

Has grown what an organization is able to deliver, not just managed what it already had

Works well across company lines and gets things from teams that do not report to them

Clear writer who can turn a complicated tradeoff into a recommendation an executive can act on

Comfortable with ambiguity and with building the first version of something

Some people leadership or a track record of developing others informally

Loyalty, gaming, hospitality, travel, retail, or consumer products experience preferred

Passion for sports and fandom, and judgment about what feels premium rather than expensive
