Senior Marketing Manager, Prime Video Japan

As Prime Video JP continues to grow its portfolio, we are currently seeking a Senior Marketing Manager to manage our marketing for properties spanning Scripted (Movies and Series) and Unscripted (Romance Reality and Comedy Shows) contents. You will develop marketing strategies and execute 360 degree marketing plans to expand our audiences, working closely with internal stakeholders including Amazon Studios, Content Acquisition, PR, Marketing Creative, Owned Merchandising, Brand, and Legal, as well as licensors and advertising agencies.

• Key job responsibilities
• •Lead the marketing strategy and go-to-market plans for Prime Video contents/titles, working in close collaboration with internal teams, advertising and media agencies, and media platforms to achieve business goals and marketing KPIs.
• •Analyze consumer insights, understand the competitor landscape, and serve as the subject matter expert for marketing of shows/contents in Prime Video Japan.
• •Present marketing strategies and share ongoing performance updates with senior leadership.
• •Establish and manage launch timelines, ensuring appropriate processes, procedures, forms, and tracking are in place with internal and external stakeholders to maintain scheduled campaign delivery.

• A day in the life
• As a Senior Marketing Manager at Prime Video, you'll spearhead marketing strategy for show/title launches from campaign concept to execution and be responsible for achieving viewership and signup goals. You'll orchestrate cross-functional collaboration with internal PR, Creative teams, media and social agencies, and licensors to deliver impactful single-title campaigns. Your day-to-day includes leading marekting campaign strategy, managing campaign timelines across multiple launches, and delivering regular performance reports to management with data-driven approach. This role offers the opportunity to lead marketing campaigns of Prime Video contents in scale in a fast-paced, creative environment.

Basic qualifications

• - 8+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
• - Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
• - Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
• - Speak, write, and read fluently in English
• - Speak, write, and read fluently in Japanese
• - Experience managing multiple projects, prioritizing, planning, and managing time
• - Experience establishing successful partnerships with internal and external teams to execute tactical initiatives or equivalent

Preferred qualifications

• - Experience in the entertainment industry
• - Experience driving direction and alignment with large cross-functional teams and agency partners
