Senior Materials Planner

As a Materials Planner , you will support local and international material planning activities to ensure the availability of materials required for production and help maintain customer service levels. You will work closely with suppliers, logistics teams, and internal stakeholders to support the execution of supply plans.

Key Responsibilities

• •Monitor material requirements and support the timely supply of materials for production.
• •Follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time deliveries and resolve routine supply issues.
• •Assist in maintaining appropriate inventory levels while helping minimize excess and obsolete materials.
• •Track approximately 600 SKUs and support inventory analysis activities.
• •Coordinate with suppliers and logistics providers regarding deliveries and transportation schedules.
• •Help identify potential supply risks and escalate issues when necessary.
• •Maintain planning parameters and material data in ERP systems.
• •Support continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory management and material planning.
• •Monitor safety stock levels and report potential shortages.
• •Ensure material availability to support production schedules and customer orders.
• •Support import and export activities by following up on required documentation.
• •Coordinate with customs brokers, suppliers, and internal teams for material shipments.
• •Track shipments from origin to destination and provide status updates to stakeholders.
• •Assist in creating and communicating material forecasts and supply plans to suppliers and internal customers.
• •Prepare reports and analyze planning data using Excel and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• •Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
• •3+ years of experience in Material Planning, Supply Chain, Inventory Control, Procurement, or Logistics.
• •Experience working with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, JDE, or similar).
• •Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, basic analysis).
• •Basic knowledge of inventory management and supply planning concepts.
• •Fluent English
