POSITION OVERVIEW:

As part of the Network, Identity, and Security Team, youʼll be supporting and maintaining our corporate network, along with the services and devices that protect it. Youʼll build solutions and solve technical problems--small and large--from BAU, fault finding and fixing issues to documentation, training others, and managing incidents.

A typical work week might include:

Transitioning to a new ISP provider in a remote office, troubleshooting routing/switching or WiFi issues, troubleshooting remote access issues, supporting new office builds and deployments, and working with the team to develop network standards and documentation.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

You'll be working on The Network, Identity, and Security team have a broad range of responsibilities so there's plenty of options to pursue.

Initially, the main focus will be: Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including firmware, patches, hotfixes, and security configurations

Working with ISPs on provisioning new services or troubleshooting issues

Performing office DR tests Day to day operations of the enterprise network

You will be working daily with multiple technology disciplines, including networking, telephony, and ‘everything as a serviceʼ. You will design, deliver and support innovative best of breed solution

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

5+ years working with converged Corporate and Campus networks, with an understanding of routing/switching, WLAN, WAN, security, and telephony.

Solid understanding of network protocols and concepts such as OSPF, BGP, STP, IPSEC, VSS, 802.11(b/g/n)

Experienced in supporting and troubleshooting remote access solutions (Cisco AnyConnect)

Experience supporting large campus network infrastructures.

Network operations expertise, including automation, monitoring, and incident response. Broad operational knowledge of network and internet security.

Solid understanding of Cisco network tools, including routers and switches, WAPs, WLCs, ASAs, and ISE.

Solid understanding of Juniper infrastructure (SRX Firewalls and Junos Space) Documentation skills, such as troubleshooting run-books and as-built documents.

A self-starter able to work independently but comfortable working in a team environment

Ability to work with a global, remote workforce Network certifications such as CCNA Things that would be great but we already have or you can grow into: Windows Active Directory experience

Experience with automation and tooling Python/Ansible/Bash/Git AWS and VMware experience would also be well regarded.

Familiarity of IaaS/PaaS/SaaS infrastructure/environments. Knowledge of ITIL framework and its application in a network environment.

Network certifications such as CCNP or JNCIP well regarded
