Your part in our St Andrews War Memorial Hospital team

Our team of allied health professionals assist patients through a variety of admitted programs and outpatient services to achieve the best possible outcomes in their rehabilitation and recovery. Our team includes Physiotherapists, Exercise Physiologists, Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, Speech Pathologists, Social Workers and Dietitians. We offer a wide variety of services including Women’s and Men’s Health, Outpatient, Rehabilitation and Persistent Pain.

As Senior Outpatient Gender Health Physiotherapist you will work with patients to maximise their physical potential and restore movement and function, providing treatment integral to recovery from surgery, illness and injury.

With a focus on delivering high-quality, clinical care to patients within acute and outpatient settings you’ll recognise the importance of multi-disciplinary approaches to rehabilitation; bringing an open, collaborative approach to patient-centred care and mentoring other clinicians.

You will also have an opportunity to lead in the physiotherapy managment of the acute general, urology, gynaecological and breast surgical caseload.

What makes a difference for us?

• •Minimum 4 years Gender Health experience in a comparable setting (acute hospital and/or ambulatory setting)
• •Relevant qualifications and AHPRA registration
• •APA level two women's health courses, WHTA courses or post-graduate study desirable
• •Experience with varied outpatient case load: women's, men's and pelvic health
• •Experience with men's pre and post prostatectomy patients including use of transperineal ultrasound
• •Lymphoedema training desirable
• •Willingness to obtain required vaccinations in line with hospitals infection control requirements
