Senior Platform Engineer – DevSecOps & Build Systems

Job Title: Senior DevSecOps Engineer

Key Skills: Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines, Ansible, Terraform, Groovy, Kubernetes, C++ Location: Brazil Mode: Remote We at Coforge are hiring Senior DevSecOps Engineer with the following skill set. Key Responsibilities

• •Own and evolve the build system across platforms (Linux, Windows), including Buck2 build scripts, Conan packages, and CI/CD pipelines.
• •Write, maintain, and debug build automation scripts in Python, Rust, Starlark (buck2).
• •Run security scans (SCA/SAST), filter false positives and determine the appropriate dependency update or fix for confirmed findings.
• •Drive major dependency upgrades, including any necessary code adaptations across affected components.
• •Manage the lifecycle of product-specific packages (Conan packages, Python wheels).
• •Support the adoption and integration of shared framework and component updates.
• •Troubleshoot infrastructure and pipeline issues, partnering with development and operations teams.
• •Maintain technical documentation and promote infrastructure best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• •Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline with proven experience in DevOps or Infrastructure Engineering roles.
• •Strong, practical Python skills, including writing, reading, and debugging non-trivial scripts and build automation code.
• •Strong understanding of Python packaging: package distribution, the wheel format including platform and ABI compatibility.
• •Solid working knowledge of C++ compiler & linker configuration on Linux and Windows.
• •Sufficient C++ familiarity to read product code, assess the impact of dependency changes, and make targeted fixes where needed.
• •Experience authoring or maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• •Proficiency with Git and standard collaborative development workflows.
• •Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• •Advanced English communication skills (written and spoken).

Preferred Skills:

• •Experience with Conan for package management of native dependencies.
• •Experience with hermetic build systems like Buck2 or Bazel.
• •Familiarity with “uv” as a modern Python package manager.
• •Experience with Rust / Cargo.
• •Prior exposure to SCA or SAST tooling.
