Senior Practitioner - Safeguarding Team

• Liquid Personnel is recruiting a Senior Practitioner to join its client’s Safeguarding Team, based in Greenwich.
• The role involves delivering high-quality, person-centred social work within the Adult Safeguarding Team, ensuring the safety, dignity, and wellbeing of vulnerable adults. Responsibilities include managing safeguarding concerns, undertaking statutory assessments, and working collaboratively with multi-agency partners to reduce risk and promote independence.

What will your responsibilities be?

Lead and coordinate Section 42 safeguarding enquiries in line with the Care Act 2014.

Undertake risk assessments, Mental Capacity Assessments, and Best Interest decisions.

Respond to safeguarding alerts and referrals, ensuring timely and proportionate interventions.

Work closely with health professionals, police, housing, and voluntary sector partners to ensure a multi-agency approach to safeguarding.

Develop and review care and support plans that promote safety, independence, and wellbeing.

Maintain accurate and timely case records using the council’s case management system (e.g., Liquid Logic, Mosaic).

Apply professional curiosity and strengths-based approaches to all aspects of practice.

Attend safeguarding strategy meetings, case conferences, and court proceedings as required.

Promote awareness of safeguarding across the wider adult social care service and contribute to service development

Qualifications and Experience:

To be successful in this role you must have.

Social Work England registration

Eligible to work in the UK

Hold a full UK driving licence

Post-qualified experience

Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
