Primary Responsibilities

• •Apply analytical methods, finite element models, simulations, and other engineering tools to develop models, perform structural and dynamic analyses, conduct calculations, reduce test data, and correlate results.
• •Partner closely with design and manufacturing teams to deliver high-performance structures that meet demanding requirements for performance, manufacturability, and schedule.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or equivalent degree from an ABET-accredited university.Possess 17+ years of relevant industry experience with a bachelor’s degree, 15+ years with a master’s degree, or 13+ years with a doctorate degree.Demonstrated experience with any of the commercial finite element analysis tools (e.g. FEMAP/NX NASTRAN, PATRAN/MSC NASTRAN, ANSYS, Abaqus, etc.).Strong technical writing, presentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.Proven ability to thrive in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary engineering environment.Capable of working as part of a larger analysis team or working as the sole analyst on a project.U.S. citizenship and a current Final Secret Clearance—or eligibility to obtain and maintain one.Residence in, or willingness to relocate to, the Huntsville, Alabama area.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $154,050.00 - $278,475.00
