About the Role

As a Senior Product Designer at ShopOS, you'll own the end-to-end experience of our AI-native commerce platform . Working closely with founders, product managers, and engineers , you'll transform complex workflows into intuitive product experiences that help brands launch faster, operate smarter, and grow with AI. This role goes far beyond designing beautiful interfaces . You'll solve complex usability challenges, simplify enterprise workflows, improve product adoption, and shape how users interact with AI across our platform . You'll also play a key role in defining design standards, mentoring fellow designers, and building product experiences that scale with the company.

What You'II Own

• •Design end-to-end product experiences—from user journeys and wireframes to polished, production-ready interfaces.
• •Partner closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and Founders to solve complex product problems and ship high-quality experiences quickly.
• •Design AI-native workflows, enterprise dashboards, onboarding journeys, conversational interfaces, and commerce tools.
• •Simplify complex user workflows into intuitive, delightful, and efficient product experiences.
• •Leverage customer research, usability testing, and product analytics to continuously improve user adoption and engagement.
• •Build scalable design systems, reusable components, and interaction patterns that ensure consistency across products.
• •Prototype ideas rapidly to validate concepts, gather feedback, and iterate before development.
• •Collaborate closely with engineering teams throughout implementation to ensure pixel-perfect execution.
• •Deliver detailed design specifications, assets, and documentation for seamless design-to-development handoff.
• •Mentor junior designers, contribute to design reviews, and help raise the overall quality of design across the organization.
• •Advocate for users while balancing business goals, technical feasibility, and execution speed.

What We're Looking For

• •3–6 years of full-time experience designing digital products, preferably B2B SaaS, enterprise software, AI products, or workflow-driven platforms.
• •Strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end ownership of product experiences—from identifying user problems to shipping polished solutions.
• •Deep understanding of UX principles, interaction design, information architecture, usability, and product thinking.
• •Expert proficiency in Figma, component libraries, prototyping, and modern design workflows.
• •Experience collaborating closely with Product Managers and Engineering teams throughout the product lifecycle.
• •Ability to use customer research, usability testing, product analytics, and user feedback to make informed design decisions.
• •Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate design rationale and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
• •Strong visual craft with exceptional attention to detail, consistency, and interaction quality.
• •Comfort working in a fast-paced startup where priorities evolve quickly and ownership is expected.
• •Passion for designing AI-native products and leveraging AI-powered tools to enhance design workflows.

Bonus Points

• •Experience designing AI copilots, conversational interfaces, agentic workflows, or automation products.
• •Experience designing enterprise SaaS platforms, dashboards, or workflow-heavy applications.
• •Familiarity with product analytics tools such as PostHog, Mixpanel, Amplitude, or similar platforms.
• •Understanding of HTML, CSS, React fundamentals, and modern design-to-development workflows.
• •Experience contributing to production code or working alongside Design Engineering teams.
• •Experience building and maintaining scalable design systems.
• •Motion design or micro-interaction expertise.
• •Previous experience working in a high-growth startup environment.
• •Curiosity about emerging AI technologies, interaction models, and future interface paradigms.
