At Too Good To Go, we dream of a planet with no food waste.

Did you know that more than 40% of all food produced gets thrown away? This unnecessary food waste — and the resources needed to produce and transport it — accounts for 10% of global greenhouse gas emissions.

Too Good To Go is a certified B Corporation on a mission to end food waste. We connect stores with surplus food to consumers across 20 markets in Europe, North America, and APAC — with over 140 million registered users, more than 200,000 daily active stores, and 600 million meals saved from going to waste.

Why This Role

Pricing sits at the centre of everything we do. It shapes what partners earn, what consumers pay, and how much surplus food actually gets saved. Today, pricing decisions are made in different places, for different reasons, without a single team owning the strategy end to end.

We are changing that. We are building our first dedicated Pricing team — and you will be the founding member.

You will start with a concrete, high-value problem: the pricing infrastructure behind our Key Account deals. That's your launchpad — from there, you will have real scope to shape our approach to dynamic pricing, consumer-facing service fees, and pricing strategy across Too Good To Go more broadly. This is a role built for someone who wants to define a domain, not just execute a brief.

The goal behind everything we do is twofold: save as much surplus food as possible, and grow the pie between TGTG, our Partners, and our Consumers — never trading one off against the other.

There is a further dimension to this. We are expanding beyond food into new non-food, non-perishable categories — and that growth brings pricing complexity and opportunity we have not had to solve before. Getting ahead of that, rather than reacting to it, is part of this role.

Your Mission

As Senior Product Manager for Pricing, you will build the foundation for how Too Good To Go prices its marketplace — starting with Key Account deals, then extending across the business.

In the near term, you will design and ship the infrastructure that lets us set, manage, and evolve pricing for Key Account partnerships with the flexibility our commercial teams need. From there, you will develop a smarter, more dynamic pricing algorithm that responds to supply, demand, and partner economics — replacing static rules with something genuinely intelligent. Alongside this, you will investigate our consumer-facing service fees: how they're structured, how they're perceived, and where there is room to optimise.

Underneath all of it are two questions you will own: how do we price in a way that saves as much surplus food as possible, and how do we grow the pie for everyone — Too Good To Go, our Partners, and our Consumers — rather than shifting value from one side to another? Answering both well means understanding marketplace pricing broadly: the best practices and patterns other two- and three-sided marketplaces use, and what applies to ours.

Pricing decisions rarely stay inside one product's boundaries, so you will work across product teams and the wider organisation — Commercial, Data Science, Engineering, Finance, and Key Accounts — to make sure pricing is right everywhere it shows up, not just within your own roadmap. You will become the go-to person for anything pricing-related at Too Good To Go, including presenting your strategy and results to the Global Management Team.

You will also help lay the pricing groundwork for our move into non-food, non-perishable categories — different cost structures, margins, and purchase patterns than the food pricing we know today, and a chance to shape pricing thinking for a new part of the business from the start.

The Team

You will be the founding Pricing PM, operating as an individual contributor, with a small dedicated engineering team of around 3-4 developers to start. We will grow the team's scope and headcount as we prove impact, not before. You will report directly to our VP of Product.

This is a new team with a clear starting point, not a fixed script. You will know where to begin — Key Account deals — but how the team's remit, roadmap, and impact grow from there is largely yours to shape. If you want a role where everything is already solved and you are just executing, this isn't it. If you want to help define what great pricing looks like across Too Good To Go, it is.

The role is suited to someone who does not need daily direction — who can set the agenda within that mandate, manage up effectively, and make strong pricing calls with incomplete information.

Responsibilities

Build the pricing infrastructure for Key Account deals, giving commercial teams the tools and flexibility to structure partnerships well while keeping pricing logic sound and scalable.

Design and develop a smart pricing algorithm — moving from static, rules-based pricing toward a dynamic model informed by supply, demand, and partner-specific economics.

Investigate consumer-facing service fees: how they're set, how they perform, and how they should evolve to balance consumer value with business sustainability.

Take a holistic view of pricing across TGTG, Partners, and Consumers — optimising for meals saved and for growing the pie for all three, rather than trading one off against another.

Research and apply best practices and patterns from marketplace pricing more broadly, adapting proven approaches to our specific dynamics rather than reinventing from scratch.

Own the roadmap and OKRs for the Pricing team within its agreed mandate, sequencing the work so that early wins on Key Accounts build toward the algorithm and fee strategy.

Work across product teams and the wider organisation — Commercial, Data Science, Engineering, Finance, and Key Accounts — to make sure pricing decisions are right wherever they show up, not just within your own roadmap.

Be the go-to person for anything pricing-related at Too Good To Go, including presenting strategy, models, and results to the Global Management Team.

Anticipate the pricing complexity and opportunity of TGTG's expansion into non-food, non-perishable categories, and start laying the groundwork for pricing them well.

Use data rigorously — pricing experiments, elasticity analysis, partner and consumer feedback — to test hypotheses before scaling them.

What We Are Looking For

Multi-year experience in Product Management with direct, hands-on ownership of pricing.

Experience with pricing in a marketplace or platform business is a genuine differentiator. If you've worked on take rates, dynamic pricing, two-sided pricing trade-offs, or fee structures in a marketplace, you will hit the ground running.

A track record of building pricing algorithms, models, or infrastructure — not just adjusting numbers in a spreadsheet, but shipping systems that price things well and can evolve over time.

Comfort working with quantitative teams (data science, analytics, finance) to translate pricing theory into production systems.

How you work

You are comfortable — and genuinely thrive — working independently, with a high degree of autonomy, especially in the early stages of building a new team.

You bring a rigorous, quantitative mind. You reason from first principles about supply, demand, and incentives, and you back your recommendations with data and clear models.

You can hold multiple stakeholders' interests in view at once — TGTG's, our Partners', and our Consumers' — and make the case for a solution that works for all three.

You build genuine working relationships across product and the wider business, not just within your own team, so that pricing is done right wherever it touches the product.

You are an excellent communicator, comfortable presenting to senior and executive audiences — including the Global Management Team — with clarity and confidence.

You move fast. You do not wait for perfect information. You are decisive,

Is this role actually a fit for you?
