Senior Product Manager

Wippi is building a screen-free AI companion for kids , where stories, characters and learning come alive through voice and conversational AI.

Our product sits at the intersection of consumer electronics, software and GenAI — combining a physical device with content, voice and intelligent interactions.

The Role

We’re looking for a Principal/Senior Product Manager to own Wippi’s end-to-end software-powered device experience and kid engagement .

You’ll take products and features from idea → prototype → shipped experience , working across firmware, device orchestration, backend/cloud, frontend and AI teams .

You’ll own the software experience of the device — not mechanical or industrial hardware development.

What You’ll Own

• •Device Experience: Own how kids interact with Wippi — engagement, usability, responsiveness and reliability.
• •Firmware Product: Define product requirements for firmware and electronics-facing experiences.
• •Device Orchestration: Own the software layer connecting the device with cloud, content and AI systems.
• •GenAI Experiences: Build conversational, storytelling and learning experiences using LLMs, speech and generative AI .
• •End-to-End Features: Drive features across firmware → backend → AI → app , rather than owning just one layer.
• •Rapid Prototyping: Think like a product engineer — use vibe coding and AI tools to hack prototypes, test ideas and validate experiences quickly.
• •Product Metrics: Own activation, kid engagement, repeat usage and retention.

What We’re Looking For

• •4–7 years of product / technical product experience.
• •At least 3 years building consumer products.
• •Must have built and shipped GenAI-powered consumer products or meaningful GenAI consumer features.
• •Strong understanding of LLMs, AI workflows, APIs and modern software architecture .
• •Product-engineer aptitude: comfortable getting hands-on, vibe coding and building working prototypes.
• •Strong technical aptitude and ability to work deeply with engineering teams.
• •Experience taking consumer products 0→1 and scaling them beyond launch .
• •IoT experience is not required — but curiosity about electronics, firmware and how physical products work will be a strong advantage.
• •Strong product judgment, prioritisation and bias for shipping.
