A Day in the Life
The Senior Program Manager is responsible for leading a portfolio of complex, cross-functional capacity expansion and manufacturing transformation initiatives supporting Medtronic's Cardiovascular and Neuroscience businesses. This role serves as the primary program leadership interface between Operations, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance, and Business Unit stakeholders to ensure successful execution of strategic capital investments, capacity expansion programs, technology transfers, and manufacturing readiness activities.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
- Lead cross-functional teams in the planning and execution of strategic capacity expansion, capital investment, and operational excellence initiatives supporting Medtronic's Cardiovascular and Neuroscience portfolios.
- Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management.
- Develop and maintain integrated project plans, resource forecasts, capital budgets, financial tracking, risk registers, and executive-level program status reporting for the Connectors Focus Factory.
- Drive end-to-end program execution from concept development and business case approval through equipment qualification, process validation, production readiness, and operational handoff.
- Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
- Identify, assess, and proactively mitigate project risks, supply continuity concerns, resource constraints, and execution barriers that could impact timelines, financial performance, or manufacturing readiness.
Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience
- OR an advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Operations, Business, Supply Chain, or a related technical field.
7+ years of program management, portfolio management, operations, engineering, manufacturing, or related experience
- Experience building strategic roadmaps.
- Experience influencing stakeholders across functions and organizational levels.
- Experience with change management, coaching, and mentoring.
- Experience managing projects, including time management, client relationship management, conflict resolution, training facilitation, and administrative responsibilities.
- Experience establishing Voice of Operations (VOO) and/or Voice of Customer (VOC) requirements within the Product Development Process (PDP).
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
- PMP certification or equivalent project/program management certification.
For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$149,600.00 - $224,400.00
This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).
The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
