As a Senior Project Manager, FinOps & Cloud Foundations, you will lead complex, cross-functional IT initiatives from inception through to the realization of expected benefits. You will establish the conditions for success, structure governance, engage stakeholders, and ensure predictable, transparent, value-focused execution.

Your portfolio will primarily focus on the evolution of the FinOps practice and the modernization of cloud foundations. Your initiatives will span technology platforms, governance practices, financial efficiency, automation, self-service capabilities, and operating model transformation.

You will serve as a key integration point between business, financial, and technology priorities within a matrix environment characterized by numerous interdependencies. What You Will Accomplish With Us

As a Senior Project Manager, FinOps & Cloud Foundations, you will play a key role in our mission. Your main responsibilities will include:

• •Leading the scoping of strategic initiatives by defining objectives, scope, expected outcomes, dependencies, and success criteria.
• •Developing recommendations, roadmaps, decision-making materials, and delivery plans required to advance projects.
• •Defining expected benefits and success metrics to ensure rigorous tracking of value delivered.
• •Planning and managing the full project lifecycle while effectively coordinating internal teams and external partners.
• •Establishing effective governance, facilitating decision-making forums, and supporting required prioritization and trade-off decisions.
• •Engaging business, technology, and finance stakeholders through influential leadership.
• •Managing scope, costs, schedules, risks, quality, and dependencies to achieve targeted outcomes.
• •Supporting change adoption, continuous improvement, and benefits realization while ensuring alignment with GPMO standards.

We are looking for someone who:

• •Is recognized for their ability to lead complex strategic initiatives in a matrix environment involving multiple stakeholders.
• •Stands out through their influential leadership and ability to mobilize multidisciplinary teams around shared objectives.
• •Demonstrates a strong ability to structure strategic initiatives, establish effective governance, and support decision-making processes.
• •Is recognized for their sound judgment, analytical thinking, and political acumen in high-impact and fast-evolving environments.
• •Has a minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience in project management or strategic program delivery.
• •Holds a bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• •Demonstrates expertise in Agile, Lean, hybrid, or traditional project management approaches and can adapt their methodology to the context.
• •Has knowledge of cloud environments, FinOps practices, technology governance, or digital transformation, which would be considered an asset.
• •Has an advanced level of proficiency in both French and English, as the incumbent will act as an advisor to various stakeholders located across Canada. In this role, they will be required to communicate and collaborate regularly in English, both verbally and in writing.
