ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop new methodologies for biologically characterizing electronic nicotine delivery systems (ENDS) products
Perform routine biological characterization of liquids and aerosols for potential cytotoxicity to support product development
Perform routine equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration activities
Adherence to GLP.
Write, execute, and update SOPs
Maintain a record of results
Present reports on experimental results
P ERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
B.S. with 6 years of hands-on lab experience
Demonstrated experience in a laboratory setting to include basic laboratory procedures such as weighing, quantitative transfer, and volumetric dilutions required.
Hands-on experience in aseptic mammalian cell-culture techniques required.
Expertise with utilizing flow cytometry to analyze biological samples
Experience with plate-based assays (fluorescence, luminescence, and/or absorbance) a plus
Familiarity with Microsoft Office & statistical software (e.g., Graphpad Prism) and plus
Self-motivated with strong communication skills.
Excellent data management.
EDUCATION:
BS/MS in Biology, Biochemistry, Cell/Molecular Biology, Neuroscience, or related field
