About the role
You will contribute directly as a robotics software engineer to our product codebase, designing and building cutting-edge robotics and automation software powering our customers' automated systems. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver robust, maintainable, and well-tested software that drives real-world robots.
Your Responsibilities
Design, implement, and improve robotics software platforms
Drive architectural improvements and reduce technical debt in critical robotics components
Enhance the stability, performance, and robustness of our robotics solutions as they scale to new customers and use cases
Investigate and resolve complex software issues, including those reported from robotic deployments, and deliver lasting solutions
Collaborate with product owners and engineers from various disciplines to translate real-world automation challenges into well-engineered robotics solutions
Review code, mentor team members, and help raise the engineering bar across the robotics software team
Essential Skills
Degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Information Technology, Games Engineering, or
equivalent experience
Strong C# and C++ skills
Solid understanding of design patterns and clean code principles
Experience with code testing (unit, integration, and beyond)
Experience building industrial-grade software for robotics or automation applications•Excellent English communication skills
Beneficial Skills
Experience with one or more of: motion planning, control theory, machine vision, deep learning, computer graphics (OpenGL, Vulkan), or simulation software
Experience with WPF or Avalonia, and the MVVM pattern
