Senior ServiceNow Developer - ITSM/ITOM/ITAM

The Senior Business Applications Developer is a highly experienced role responsible for architecting, developing, and maintaining enterprise software applications. This role involves leading complex development projects, collaborating with senior stakeholders to gather and define technical requirements, and ensuring robust system integrations. The Senior Developer also mentors junior and mid-level developers and champions best practices in software development.

As SNC's corporate team, we provide the company and its business areas with strategic direction and business support spanning executive management, finance and accounting, operations, human resources, legal, IT, information security, facilities, marketing, and communications.

Responsibilities:

• •Work with service owners to understand their needs and translate them into ServiceNow requirements.
• •Compile user requirements into agile Story(s).
• •Develop, test, demo & review the resulting work with the employee to make sure it meets their needs.
• •Perform development and configuration within multiple platform areas including, but not limited to Service Portal, Service Catalog, Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge, Release / SDLC, Asset Management, SAM Pro, Human Resource Management, ITOM/ITAM/CMDB/Discovery, CMDB integrations, Configuration Management (CMDB), Mobility and Reporting.
• •Provide support and development to, but not limited to, screen tailoring, workflow administration, flow administration, report setup, data imports, integration, scripting, third party software integrations, automation and custom application development.
• •Obtain and analyze/interpret business requirements to purpose sustainable solutions in ServiceNow.
• •Answer "how to" technical and application configuration questions.
• •Develop, maintain, and execute reports to ensure system operation meets performance targets.
• •Create and maintain system design and operations documentation.
• •Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• •Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field of study.
• •Minimum of 4 years of demonstrated ServiceNow developer experience with advanced knowledge of Flows, JavaScript, and internal working so the overall platform.
• •8+ years of experience in business analyst systems, or a related field.
• •Relevant experience can be considered as a substitute for the required educational qualifications. In the absence of a degree, a minimum of 12 years of related experience is required.
• •Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience.
• •Advanced experience with .NET (C#), WCF, MVC, jQuery, JavaScript, Node, Typescript.
• •Expert skills in SQL Development, Application Integration, Web application development, HTML, DHTML, or CSS.
• •In-depth knowledge of the ITSM (Service Portal, Request, Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge) and ITOM/ITAM/Discovery/Discovery Integrations ServiceNow offerings.
• •Working knowledge and experience using at least some of these web technologies (HTML, CSS, XML, SOAP, REST)
• •CSDM working knowledge and the ability to implement CSDM strategy into the ServiceNow platform.
• •Proven track record of working with customers to identify their needs, turn those needs into documented Stories with documented detailed requirements.
• •Proven track record of working with customers to confirm requirements, turn those requirements into a functional design, developing that design, working with the customer to confirm the solution via UAT testing, and successfully implementing the solution into Production; resulting in happy customers.
• •Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• •Proven experience in leading complex development projects.

Qualifications We Prefer:

• •Certified ServiceNow Developer (CSD) Certification.
• •Micro Certs or certifications in other platform functionalities.
• •Exposure to Identity Management and Single Sign on/Active Directory integrations.
• •ITIL certification(s).

Essential Functions:

• •Perform desk-based computer tasks for extended periods.
• •Engage in repetitive motions, including typing on a keyboard.
• •Occasionally lift and move items up to 20 lbs.
• •Ability to work in an office or hybrid environment.
• •Ability to travel as required.
• •Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including QA, operations, and security, to ensure the seamless integration and functionality of business applications within the aerospace and defense context.

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $71,338.47 - $98,090.40. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors, such as candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
