Senior Software Developer - Backend

About the Role :

As a Senior Software Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and scaling core product features. You will take ownership of modules end-to-end and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality and scalable solutions.

You will also mentor engineers and contribute to improving engineering practices across the team.

Key Responsibilities :

• •Design and develop scalable, high-performance software systems.
• •Own modules end-to-end including design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
• •Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to build impactful product features.
• •Write high-quality, maintainable, and scalable code.
• •Drive performance improvements and system stability.
• •Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.
• •Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical decisions.
• •Continuously evaluate and adopt new technologies and tools.

 

• •3–6 years of experience in software development.
• •Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• •Strong experience in Java/J2EE technologies.
• •Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design.
• •Experience building scalable and distributed systems.
• •Hands-on experience with relational databases (MySQL/Postgres).
• •Experience with MongoDB, Web Services, and microservices architecture.
• •Experience working in product-based companies, internet companies, or startups is preferred.
• •Experience in e-commerce or travel domain is a plus.

Skills Required :

• •Strong understanding of design patterns and scalable architecture.
• •Experience with performance optimization and debugging tools.
• •Good knowledge of multithreading, concurrency, and memory management.
• •Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• •Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• •Mentoring and guiding junior engineers.
