Senior Software Development Engineer - 3+ Years

About the Role

Techdome is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to build and own the systems that power our healthcare and financial products. These are platforms where uptime, security, and data accuracy really matter — so we need someone who enjoys building real, production-grade software, not just closing tickets.

You'll work across the full stack (Node.js, React, MongoDB, TypeScript), take features from idea to production, and have a genuine voice in how we design and build our systems.

What You'll Do

• •Own features end-to-end — from design and development through deployment and support
• •Build secure, fast, well-tested APIs and applications
• •Review code and help maintain strong engineering standards across the team
• •Debug and fix production issues directly — you're the one who solves it, not just flags it
• •Take part in architecture and technical design discussions
• •Mentor other engineers through code reviews and daily collaboration
• •Work closely with product, design, QA, and DevOps, plus cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, containers, and monitoring tools

What You Need (Must-Haves)

• •3+ years of professional software engineering experience
• •Strong, hands-on skills in Node.js, React, MongoDB, and JavaScript/TypeScript
• •Good understanding of REST APIs, database design, authentication/authorization, testing, and application security
• •Experience running real applications in production at scale
• •Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• •Comfortable with CI/CD, Git, Docker, and monitoring/debugging production systems
• •Experience working in a regulated or high-stakes industry — healthcare, fintech, banking, payments, or insurance
• •Ability to work independently and take ownership of problems

Nice to Have

• •Experience with system design, distributed systems, or microservices/event-driven architecture
• •Exposure to Kubernetes and infrastructure-as-code
• •HIPAA/PHI or PCI-DSS experience, or work with payment platforms like Stripe, Braintree, or Adyen
• •Background in consulting, product studios, or working across multiple clients/products
• •Familiarity with AI-assisted dev tools like Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot
